United Kingdom Special Forces

United Kingdom Special Forces, established in 1987, is commanded by the Director Special Forces (DSF). Prior to 2008 DSF held the rank of Brigadier but with recognition of the increased size of the Directorate he now holds the rank of Major General. The task of UKSF is to provide a unified command structure for all UK Special Forces.

    Not one to be fussy, but why under the main photo(top left)does it say members in Africa WW2 ? me thinks that lies. please correct me if im wrong.

    No they're not SF - they are trained Pilots from one of the RAF training schools. But that doesn't included UKSF Aviation.
