Armed Forces: Regular or Reserve?

Step 3: Choose The Right Path
Regular or Reserve?
It can be hard to pick the right job as there are many forces jobs. The Regular Forces are the obvious choice for people who are keen on a career with the Armed Forces as they offer job stability and good promotion options. However, the Reserve Forces are now a highly respected option for people who want to fit some extra training and adventure into their lives.
There’s paperwork to get through…
Being a reservist: It’s much more than spending the occasional weekend playing with guns and hefty bits of kit. You will get lots of useful team building and leadership training too. Just remember that it is highly likely that you will be deployed, especially if you join the Territorial Army, as the Reserve Forces have become an essential part of the Armed Forces.
Joining the reserves will add an extra dimension to your life, give you free training that will be of use in civilian careers, and give you access to various adventure sports that most people won’t get a chance to try. You also get paid for your time while ‘playing’ with some serious bits of kit!

The eligibility, age and education requirements are broadly similar to the regular services and vary according to the specific trades within each service. The payment is also similar to that of the regular Armed Forces and is mostly paid on daily rates. There is also a system for promotions within the reserve service you serve in.
See our summary of the support available for members of the Reserve Forces and their employers.

In Tampa, Fl, we are all trying to find some sort of Tampa payroll solutions to keep ourselves employed. It looks like joining the reserves will give you a paycheck and set your career off on the right foot. How do you find out more about joining the reserves and getting on their payroll?

I think to join regular or reserve army each chooses for himself, depending on the final aim, as you pointed in your post. Regular army is ideal for career and reversed for making money doing 'man's' job. Only nowadays, when there are so many war conflicts, I think it is rather dangerous. It's better to be poor and alive than dead with a good salary.
