Chris Ryan

SAS soldier turned novelist Chris Ryan is the pseudonym of another ex-soldier turned novelist who was also on the failed Bravo Two Zero mission.

His books are a mixture of fact and fiction, of course mainly fiction, portraying a number of characters whom work in special ops and find themselves in various advertures. His style has proved attractive and popular and he has also published children’s adverture books.

He holds the record for the longest escape and evasion as he travelled over 200 miles in eight days in searing hot conditions by day and freezing temperatures by night. He lost 36lbs and all his toenails but he made it to the British Embassy in neutral Syria.

He comes from the North East. See the interview video with Chris Ryan.

Earlier in the year Revolver Entertainment released new Chris Ryan’s action Elite Police DVD in which he uses his expert knowledge and first-hand experience to delve into the most secretive police and armed forces operating today.
