Andy McNab is a pseudonym for the ex-SAS soldier turned novelist and security advisor.

Coming to fame through his book detailing the events of the failed SAS mission Bravo Two Zero in Iraq during the Gulf War he has since gone on to write a number of novels and appear on TV shows while still keeping his identity secret.

His books are best sellers of fiction and deal with questions of loyalty and violence, many of the characters travelling the globe in a fight against corruption and terrorism.

Andy Mcnab was born in London and began his Army career in the Royal Green Jackets as an infantryman, and served in several locations before SAS selection. He reached the rank of Sergeant and was team leader during his section’s insertion behind enemy lines in Iraq in 1991.
