Josh Lewsey

Josh was an English rugby union footballer who played fullback and wing for London Wasps.

He was a World-Cup winning England Rugby Union player between 2002 – 2008. He won his first England cap on the ‘Tour of Hell’ to Australia in 1998.

He was a former Royal Artillery Army officer and served for two years between 2001 – 2003, before opting to play professional rugby union full-time.

He was a part of the 2003 World Cup winning squad and also a member of the England team at the Rugby World Cup in 2007, scoring the only try against France in the 14-9 Semi-final victory. However, just before half-time in the same match he received a hamstring injury which prevented him from playing in the final against South Africa.
