30 Squadron No. 30 Squadron was formed in 1915 at Ismailia, Egypt. It is currently an Air Transport and Air-to-Air refueling squadron flying Hercules C4/C45 and is based at RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire.

31 Squadron No. 31 Squadron was formed in 1915 at Farnborough and was the first squadron to fly in India. It is currently an Offensive Support squadron flying Tornado GR4’s and is based at RAF Marham in Norfolk.

32 Squadron No. 32 Squadron was formed in 1916 at Netheravon in Wiltshire from members of No. 21 Squadron. It is currently an Air Transport and Air-to-Air refueling squadron flying BAE 125, BAE 146 and Augusta 109E and is based at RAF Northolt in North West London.

33 Squadron No. 33 Squadron was formed in 1916 at Filton in Gloucestershire from the personnel of No. 22 Squadron. It is currently a Support Helicopter Squadron flying Pumas at RAF Benson in Oxfordshire.
39 Squadron No. 39 Squadron was formed in 1916 at Hounslow as a defence against German Zeppelin raids on London. It is currently an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron flying Predator MQ-9 Reaper’s and is based at Creech Air Force Base in Indian Springs, Nevada, USA.

41 Squadron No. 41 Squadron was formed in 1916 at Gosport in Hampshire. It is currently an Operational Conversion Unit Squadron flying Jaguar GR3/3A, Tornado GR4 and F3 and Harriers and is based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire.

42 Squadron No. 42 Squadron was formed in 1916 at Filton in Gloucestershire from the personnel of No. 19 Squadron. It is currently a Maritime Patrol and Search and Rescue Squadron flying Nimrod MR2’s at RAF Kinloss in Moray.

43 Squadron No. 43 Squadron was formed in 1916 at Stirling, Scotland from members of No 19 Reserve Squadron. It is currently an Air Defence and Airbourne Early warning Squadron flying Tornado F3’s from RAF Leuchars, Fife.

45(Reserve) Squadron No.45(Reserve) Squadron was formed in 1916 at Gosport in Hampshire. It is currently a Flying Training Squadron flying Beechcraft King Air B200 for multi-engine training role at RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire.

47 Squadron No. 47 Squadron was formed in 1916 at Beverley in Yorkshire as a Home Defence squadron. It is currently an Air Transport and Air-to-Air refueling squadron flying Hercules C1/C3 and C4/C5 and is based at RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire.
