Children's Education Advisory Service (CEAS)
HMForces.co.uk
Children in the forces (forces kids) can frequently move from one school to another or between different educational systems when their parent(s) serve in the Armed Forces. This can make things a complicated and at times stressfull situation. But it need not be.
The Children’s Education Advisory Service is a Tri-Service organisation funded by the MOD. It was established to provide support and information to Service families and MOD civilians during the education of their children in the UK and overseas.
CEAS as it’s commonly known, provides information and advice on where to turn if you’re not sure on the future of your children’s education if you’re likely to be moving from different regions or countries. CEAS can also provide support to parents at meetings with LEA’S (Local Education Authorities), and schools or council meetings etc.

My brother-in-law is an army officer and he has to move a lot because of his job. I know how hard is this situation for my sister and for my nephews. So the only solution they found was home school because they have to learn and get a proper education. Because I have online psychology degrees my sister ask me to help her, she can not handle the situation very well. Is the first time when I hear about Children’s Education Advisory Service. I know that I am a good teacher, but I will call this institution to guide me through education programs. Thanks for the information.
