Territorial Army Pay Scales

Territorial Army Pay Scales

HMForces.co.uk

Members of the TA receive base pay equivalent to members of the Regular Army. You are paid for every one-quarter day of training, travel between your home and the TA Centre or place of duty, your uniforms and meals when on duty.

When you complete your minimum commitment, you receive a Training Bounty – an annual tax-free bonus. You also receive all the allowances a Regular soldier is entitled to if you are mobilised.

As well as the immediate financial benefits, you can also develop your skills and CV in the TA. You can gain diplomas, National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), first aid training, driving licenses and membership of professional bodies.

if your paid for every one quarter day of training, does that mean that you would only get paid 35.07/4 for each parade night or the whole £35?

The army, as that's where your income will come from if you ARE Mobilised. Your employer has to re-employ you when you get back from deployment, by law.
