- About Me
- I'm 16 and am planning my future. i intend to attend college for the next two years. in the distant future My aim is to own and run my own logistic (haulage/anything that makes money) business. I'm a shy person(particularly in new surroundings), So hoping the military will bring me out of my shell. If/when i joined it would be in the RLC so any 1 in the RLC that could offer advice on the role(and the tasks this may involve) to take in the regiment and rank to go for?? i would be grateful. My college course will keep me in education till roughly September 2011, all going well, so am looking to enlist about January 2012, any advice on how to bring my fitness up to enlisting standard over the next two years would also be appreciated.

Just wondering, at one point I considered Joining the Army, but at a School Industry day when was about 15, this man from Army Careers Office said, for someone who has Asthma, you musn't have had an Asthma attack in 4 years and, when I was at a Talk during Cadet training, the Same guy said you have to have been off Inhalers for 4 years, so he confused me, and kinda dashed my idea of joining the Army. Can you shed any light on this?
