If you haven’t joined yet it’s time you did! You can then post comments, make friends, share quizzes and join in the madness! Just follow this link to the sign up page. If you don’t receive our confirmation email (we take your privacy VERY seriously) please check your spam folders etc.
There are lots of social networking sites and HMForces.co.uk provides an ideal on-line environment for ex-service personnel. There’s careers advice, stuff about resettlement, and helpful comments from your fellow military and naval members.
While we are delighted to have you here, this is not like a Facebook group where you can sign up to one that looks interesting only to never visit it again. It’s all about the connections you can make.
So if you’ve been a member for a while and have taken some military and social networking quizzes, or tried to outwit the questions on The Game, it’s time for you to embrace the full HMForces.co.uk experience! Try following these four simple steps:
1) Introduce yourself in the forums here. Nothing fancy, just say hello, and a bit about you, or if you’re a civilian why are you interested in this site. Don’t worry, people always say hello back!
2) If you see someone who looks fun, or someone who has a similar job role or interests, send them a friend invite and say hello.
3) If you’ve got a query or a concern about something DO post it in the forums. There’s bound to be someone who has experienced something similar.
4) You can also invite your friends from work here by either using our invite friends feature, by emailing them our url www.hmforces.co.uk or if you’ve got friends on Facebook invite them to this Facebook group and you can invite them all in one go!
Do remember that you’re not obliged to accept all the friend invites you receive, and please bear in mind that there may be a reason for someone not accepting your invite – there’s no need to be offended!
The site is for you so you get out of it what you put into it. let me know if you have any queries, problems or suggestions for the site. Remember, if you have a nursing problem, try using the forums to get help from our members.
