Excellant read, packed full of excellant info and detail. Good for a civvy too if they want to know what real military life is about; escpecially for the onces who think they know what the military is about.

A truly hard to put down book, one I will definitely read again and again!

Fantastic read and seems very true to what it must have been like there, it took me days to get the sand out of my teeth and the camel spiders are still around somewhere.

Just bought this book before the New Year and I couldn't put it down. Not packed with acronyms that you usually find in military books which makes it easier to read. A story of true grit.
Overall : An excellent read!

I mostly read Andy Mcnab books,but loved this couldn't put it down.

reading at the moment,dont read this if you have just read 3 PARA by patrick bishop. no down doing to mr mills but he can only write what he has done and the 3 PARA BOOK is more "IN YOUR FACE ALL THE TIME" havnt compleated mr mills book but in my judgment you need to read them the other way around.

This is a must read book, I read it from start to finish in a couple of days. Puts Andy 'Big Mouth' Mcnab to shame.

Superb book, plenty of detail and a lot of army humour. If you're ex-army particularly you'll love it!
