| Posted over 2 years ago I do, but this is sometimes just not feasible due to the logistics involved. However in an ideal world I would say, yes!
Women should be obscene and not heard! Never regret what you have done, only what you havent!!!! |

| Posted over 2 years ago Totally in agreement with this, even though I work in the NHS. I have had numerous arguments and situations where I've had to point out that forces personnel MUST be treated differently!!! And it's NOT just a question of jumping the queue!!!! But sadly, with the current economy, I doubt it's ever going to return! I know that in a local hospital near me, there are forces drs and nurses working alongside NHS staff....which must have some benefit...... but I doubt we'll see purely forces hospitals etc again |

| Posted over 2 years ago NHS dentists are as rare as hens teeth anyway today - although for Maternity care I wouldn't think a forces Doctor would be up to the latest methods as much as a local GP., excellent though the forces Doctors are |

| Posted over 2 years ago Its the same all over, Australia has such a problem with teeth, some states dont have fluoride in the water and its of worse consequences. It all must come to a head eventually. |

| Posted over 2 years ago forces families put up with alot when their loved works in the demanding role of protecting our country it is about time they got somthing bace and healthcare would be a good start, the next thing would be the housing and then an improvment of benefits when the family leave the forces, however the government are too busy lining their own pockets to worry about the families of the brave fighting and dying for our country!! faugh-a-ballagh |

| Posted over 2 years ago My understanding is that there is no Forces medical system. I served 52 to 74 and my family used the same Army medicals system as I did. Service hospitals etc all independent of the civilian systems. To mess about alongside civilians in a NHS system would be nonsense - constant assessment of priorities for scare resources and argument. Bring back a military medical system first. The next 40 rotten years in stinking fghanistan will provide plenty of work for that. Then set about treating everyone - civlians, service depedents together - like reasonable human beings and stop farting about at the edges such as this proposal. |

| Posted over 2 years ago The worse thing to happen to Forces medicine, was closure of dedicated hospitals. |

| Posted over 2 years ago Like it says in the poll, perhaps a compromise? If they did get free prescriptions, where would the money come from? We're already facing public spending cuts. Cooperation destroys Confrontation |

| Posted over 2 years ago Some time ago - >20 years - when there was a Medical Service for Families, I and my family recieved the best treatment for our misc ailments.
And my dental treatment is still holding together. Unlike my National Health dentistry which is poor and gives me toothache.
I would trust a military practitioner anyday, they are well trained, respectful, caring and British! |

| Posted over 2 years ago Yeah military families deserve free healthcare and if they dont get that they deserve a big pay rise to pay for healthcare. |

border=0 /
I don't mean to sound negative, just realistic .
You can register with any dentist!!!! Thank goodness!!!!!

Diet ( sugar free) Irn Bru is everywhere up there...but try getting it south of the border!!!!!.... and never seen a deep fried Mars bar yet!
But maybe I didn't shop in the right areas
