Posted about 1 year ago I think it's a disgrace that if you are a civvie & have a disability you can qualify for the DLA motability (which I have, However, If you are a veteran you have to fight tooth & nail to get a war pension & you have to be 99.5% dead before you qualify for the war pension mobility suplement? How can this be fair & why are NONE of the politician's talking about the rights of Veterans of all conflicts??? |

| Posted about 1 year ago Have you tried contacting the "SPVA" the Service Personnel and Veterans Agency or even the Royal British Legion for advice and help in fighting your case?

| Posted about 1 year ago No one can give me a straight answer, The whole system is stacked against you, Which is why when the first Politician comes to my door will be getting both barrells as I'm sick of them doing nothing for the Veterans & I include the Navy & Airforce in that as well as the top of the food chain Royal Corps Signals oh & the rest of the Army |

But Dave don't you get a war pension anyway if you're a veteran? Sorry I'm a bit slow today, so you are asking for a supplement to your existing war pension and you are not getting it? I think you should be getting it and recommend you fighting this. Danny, if you're reading this comment, can you comment if you are nearby? Cooperation destroys Confrontation |
