Hi folks,


I'm wondering if anybody can help me. I'm trying to find out what medals my grandad is entitled to and how to go about getting them.


He knows the units he was in and when, but doesnt know what he can wear. I want to see him able to wear his medals with pride when he goes on parades and it breaks my heart that he has never been able to find out for himself.

Hi Gemma and welcome.


Your grandfather will have to fill out a few forms and apply to the MOD Medal Office! I have done this myself for my father, it is very simple.

 A little know medal award is this one for service in Malaya/Malaysia between 1957 and 1966
