Posted about 1 year ago Hi,
I've just found this site after looking for advice about joining, and was wondering if anyone could help me with a question. Basically I'm very interested in joining but am worried that I may not be allowed as I used to self-harm when I was younger, can anyone give me advice regarding this? |

| Posted about 1 year ago Hi and welcome. Here is a similar thread that might interest you, unfortunately we didnt receive any concrete answer to what basically was the same question you have just asked. There is however some sound advice from NurseGladys and I am sure she will try to help you wherever she can. The only advice I could offer is to ask at your local Careers Office. http://www.hmforces.co.uk/topics/2171-ok-here-we-go/posts
Women should be obscene and not heard! Never regret what you have done, only what you havent!!!! |

| Posted about 1 year ago Thanks for the help, will pop-in to the Careers Office an see if they can give some advice. It all happened a good few years ago now and I got counselling, so hopefully I've not ruined my chances by being a stupid kid |

I'd seriously doubt it P Mc G. If it was years ago you should be fine. It is VERY common these days, trust me!!!!!! |
