Posted about 1 year ago HI Im 16 years old and contemplating a career in the Royal Marines as it has been a life long ambition, I believe that i am fit enough to apply. I am currently running a Mile and a Half at 9 minutes 2 seconds. My parents know about this career choice but do not agree with it. I welcome all opinions and thoughts Thanks |

| Posted about 1 year ago Hi BenRoberts and welcome! My advice to you is complete your schooling and if you are still wanting to join up then give it 110%. Would be nice to have your parents backing but in the end its your life! Maybe you can win them around by the time you join up!! As for being too young, surely your parents have to give their permission as you arent 18 and if they are against it then they wont sign will they? Good luck in whatever you choose to do!
