The Highstreet store      Mountain Warehouse also give 10% forces discount

I haven`t been able to confirm this but apparently certain Theme Parks in Florida are offering FREE entrance to US AND UK troops.

Sea World, Bush Gardens or Aquatica (Water park) offer you and up to 4 dependents free entrance with your MOD 90, no queueing either, there are four kiosks and a massive sign saying 'Reserved for our Heroes'.

 

This is apparently all part of a US scheme called "Here's to the Heroes".

What about a similar scheme in the UK?

Another US organisation that seems to be extending their welcome to the British Forces is the USO (United Service Organizations). They offer free email, telephone and internet facilities amongst other things in their centres. The centres are widespread, mainly but not just within the States, and can be found in most major cities and airports.

I've heard whispers that WHSmith has started giving 20% off at service stations.

Burger king also. If they say no you can argue yoru case that others do.

Good tip for cinema's, a lot of them don't do forces discount but do do student. if denied ask why students get discount and armed forces dont. It works 9/10 times.

A few of my local Domino's Pizzas in Bristol used to give 50% discount to the forces but they've stopped it, don't know why – but still offers NHS staff and police officers cheap food. I think it's 25% off for takeaways.

I would be happy to offer discount to the armed forces, however it is difficult to find any forums or websites where you can promote an offer free.

We have a holiday cottage, Little Briar, at www.stayatbriar.co.uk in Lochearnhead on the banks of Loch Earn with a slipway, jetty, free fishing, hot tub and water sports centre 150 metres away.  The 3 acres grounds include our own b listed thatched cottage.  There are 2 hotels (The Clachan Cottage and The Lochearnhead Hotel) within 200 metres of the garden gates. We are building a second cottage which will be ready in the winter.

Oh also join CSSC Oh wait only civvies can join lol but CSSC is great coz gives loads discount for Insurance and etc and open to Soliders and Civvies in MoD or Civil Service.

Ref 1st Comment - You can say where you get discount just for example,  Don't say,  You get discount at xxx.co.uk and put 123 to get the discount! 

Ref 2nd Comment - CSSC(Civil Service Social Club) it's well worth the money!  Its the same Card that gets you into Servicemen Clubs and etc.

Firstly..........as a so called civvie.....I can speak for myself thanks...less of the "us"and 'we" please   

Secondly...eh...if you don't put the reference on...............or even only part of the reference.............how do forces on here get the discount?  Someone's going to email it back to everyone?!  I don't think there's going to be enough traffic using the discount codes to close down or "spoil" it for anyone.  All the companies are pretty similar in that the ones who give discount to one service will give to all of the "services" ( fire,police,nhs etc) so don't think it will spoil it for anyone. And at the end of the day...they are giving it because they can afford it and still make a profit..they aren't giving it away just giving those who deserve it a bit of discount so you'll go back again..that way..everyone benefits.

 My tip, learned from a very money conscious daughter.........is ASK EVERYWHERE! It's amazing how many places will give you something off if you just have the cheek to ask

I can't vouch for this discount but I CAN vouch for the area, an amazing, beautiful spot. Had a sailing holiday there more years ago than I want to remember but will never forget it.
